Today, an estimated 800,000 people will crowd onto the National Mall to witness the swearing-in of President Barack Obama. The inauguration is the 57th in the United States’ history and follows the November 6 reelection of Barack Obama, America’s 44th President.

The list of the day’s events includes performances by James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce, who is singing the National Anthem.

A REMINDER ABOUT THOSE STUPID SECESSION PETITIONS

Many of the States that are “petitioning” to secede from the Union weren’t started by people that live in said states but by people who live in Conservative states.

For example, I looked and saw that New York had its own petition that was actually started by someone from North Dakota, a state that went to Romney during the election.

So not all States are petitioning at will…
