on tonight’s episode of “jesus christ at first glance I thought that was a photo”
I look at something like this and I wonder if the artist feels about their work the same as I feel about mine. Does she/he look at this piece (which I also mistook for a photograph at first glance) and think “That lock of hair doesn’t look right,” “Oh, that’s a stupid place for a highlight, why did I do that?,” “That fold doesn’t look realistic enough, is it too late to change that?,” “How many other people have noticed that those lines aren’t even?”
Like, can you be *this amazing an artist* and still see a thousand glaring errors in your own work?
lol this is making me laugh. The sheer number of mistakes or things that “could be better” I see in all of my “finished” work makes me extremely anxious all the freaking time.
